Our mission is to give you direct access to our family-produced extra-virgin olive oil from Kalamata, Greece.
For years, most of the Kalamata olive oil has been sold to international distributors, while a small surplus was kept by the farmers’ families for their own consumption.
Kalamata olive oil has a very low acidity, so distributors can mix it with olive oil of lower quality from other countries, reducing the overall acidity level of the mixed olive oil. As a result, they can sell bigger quantities of olive oil under the label “made in Europe”.
As a result, markets are overflown by low-quality olive oil that always taste the same. Farmers are paid the lowest price possible and cannot reinvest profits in the land, the trees and the region.
Moreover, customers don’t get to know the producers and never have a chance to taste true Kalamata olive oil.
Yapapi is revolutionizing the market for family-produced extra-virgin olive oil
We harvest, produce, and bottle our extra-virgin olive ourselves, and ship it to you.
At Yapapi there are no middlemen and no supermarket between you and us.
Only single-origin olive oil, without any blend and compromise on quality. No volume-oriented production. Only a shared loved for great taste, slow production, and respect for environment.
You can help us to make this revolution possible.
